Rebecca’s career began as a teacher in a specialist setting for Autistic individuals in the South West of England. Whilst teaching Rebecca gained experience across all Key Stages, supporting children with a wide variety of neurodiverse and mental health needs. Inspired by her pupils, Rebecca returned to Belfast and gained her Masters of Science in Psychological science at Queen's University Belfast where her research focused on the relationship between anxiety and autism. In response to local demand for expert-led, specialist training Rebecca founded Eden Consultancy NI in October 2021. Rebecca equips the key adults in children's lives with the necessary knowledge and understanding to help every child flourish. Since starting the business Rebecca has been a finalist for FSB Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Freelancer of the Year 2023 going onto win FSB Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 and Charitable Women of the year with Business Awards UK.

Having grown-up in Northern Ireland, Rebecca has a passion to bring hope and change to a country that is often forgotten. By seeking to create understanding and support around each child and young person, rather than changing the child, Rebecca's desire is to build a world where these individuals feel fully loved and accepted for who they are.
